Food Parcels

The food parcel programme is one of the oldest mission activities still continuing today. The need within Bermondsey for gifts of food still exists and every friday from September to May, between 11 and 12 the mission hands out food parcels to anyone who comes. The parcels are made up of 6 items. These are a tin of soup, a tin of vegetable, a tin of meat or fish, a tin of baked beans, a tin desert and 10 teabags.

The food is donated by other Methodist churches across the country and other denominations as well as schools and other groups.
